Conducted research to improve mother and child health and child health in Peren, Nagaland.
Developed a child-friendly village action plan through an international workshop co-organized by CHI, Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, University of Heidelberg and Kailash Satyarthi Childrens Foudation (Founded by Kailash Satyarthi, recipient of the Noble Peace Prize in 2014). The action plan aims to improve the Water, Santation and Hygeine and nutritional status of children living in rural areas.
Installed 20 sanitary napkins vending machines, incererators and provide 20,000 sanitary pads in 20 primary schools and colleges in Nagaland. In addition, we also conduct regularly conducted mentural hyegine awareness once a month in schools and to the general public.
Facilitate the cultivation and promotion of a local traditional medicinal plant (Rungying) locally used for its antioxidant anti-inflammatory properties.
During the peak of the pandemic we locally manufactured Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) for frontline workers due to excessive shortage in the market. We also supported stranded migrants by providing them with food.
