Over 40 community healthcare workers have been trained in the country on primary health skills. 100 percent of the trained community health workers are now working in their communities serving the population and improving health outcomes. Conducted around 20 medical health camps covering a population of 20,000 people.
Awareness on menstrual hygiene management and distribution of low-cost quality sanitary napkins and installation of sanitary pad vending machines in schools and colleges in Nagaland. Over 4300 students have benefited from the project with significant increase in school attendance by 40 percent and improve self-esteem.
Cultivation of traditional medicinal plant (Rungying) in collaboration with the government to promote traditional medicine and improve the livelihood of rural medicinal plant farmers in Nagaland. Over 120 rural medicinal plant farmers have improved their livelihood through the cultivation of "Rungying".
Trained 45 researchers and development workers on qualitative and quantitative research methods from various sectors such as government hospitals, NGOs, and universities in India and Africa. Including training on participatory approach methods for sustainable development.
Child-Friendly Villages Project focuses on improving the health and social being of vulnerable children. The project has three pillars health promotion, prevention of child labour, and empowerment through children's parliament. The project has rehabilitated 30 children from the bondage of child labour.
Supported the National Clinical COVID-19 registry to collect data regarding clinical and laboratory features, treatments, and outcomes of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in India.
Under the solidarity project, we distributed 4000 Protective Equipment (PPE) and provided food to stranded migrant workers during lockdown.
